Kathryn has more than 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. As a full-service financial consultant, she offers her clients an array of non-proprietary investment choices. By keeping clients’ objectives in focus, staying in contact with clients throughout all market conditions, and making investment adjustments as economic and lifestyle conditions warrant, Kathryn maintains a constant commitment to putting service first.
To take advantage of available investment opportunities and plans, investors need an understanding of which investment strategies are most appropriate for their situation. Unless they are willing to go it alone, they also need a relationship with a trustworthy consultant who has a clear understanding of their needs. Over the past 40+ years, Kathryn has dedicated her practice to providing both the understanding and the trust her clients have needed to plan for their financial goals and aspirations.
A teacher by training, Kathryn is committed to helping her clients understand the financial planning process and make informed investment decisions. She graduated cum laude from Northeastern University in 1972 with a BS in Education, and in 1978 she earned a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Boston University. In the year 2000, she achieved the Certified Financial Planner® designation. She holds FINRA series 7, 24, 51, 63, and 65 securities licenses along with life, accident and health insurance licenses. FINRA Exams held through LPL Financial.
In her spare time, Kathryn sings with the Concord Chorus and Winchester Unitarian Choir, she likes to read, take jazz dance classes and play the piano. She has raised two adult daughters, and she resides with her husband in Winchester .

Katerina entered the financial industry in 2010. Starting out as a long-term care advisor and later becoming a financial consultant at New York Life, followed by seven years of banking and investment management, she found a home at LPL Financial in 2019. Caring by nature, one of the highlights of this profession for Katerina has been the opportunity to assist clients to achieve their financial goals. She believes in relationship-based planning and taking the time to get to know her clients prior to making any recommendations. Above all, she strives to put her clients’ needs above her own. Having grown up in a household run by two professors, she recognizes the power of education and has carried it into her practice. She loves educating her clients and getting them involved in the planning process. As an avid learner herself, she continues to take financial courses, attend seminars, and increase her knowledge base. In 2020 she received Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor TM designation and in 2023 she earned her Certified Financial Planner designation.
Katerina holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses through LPL Financial along with life, accident, and health insurance licenses. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics and Foreign Languages and a minor in Economics from Tomsk Pedagogical University in Russia. She obtained a Bachelor of Art degree from Westfield State University in 2004. In 2008, she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and Psychology from the University of Hartford where she received an award for best graduate research. As a first-generation Russian immigrant, she has worked hard to excel in her educational pursuits and her career.
Outside of work, Katerina is passionate about yoga and meditation. She is a certified yoga instructor and teaches evening classes on a weekly basis. She is an advocate for human rights, nature, animals, our planet and, correspondingly, embraces ESG/socially responsible investing. Katerina is a member of the Saint Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Salem, MA where she spends many of her Sundays and enjoys the opportunity to speak Russian. She lives in Beverly with her husband, Christopher, and their two children, Aleksei and Sofia.
Madhu S. Nene, MA Economics

Madhu joined our team in 2014 as our Client Relationship Manager. She has the key role of assuring that our clients' service needs are met with care and efficiency. She is dedicated to accurate, timely and thorough personal service. Her steadfast and reliable work is an essential ingredient to the streamlined office management that we provide.
Madhu is a graduate of University of Pune with a BA in Economics and MA in Business and Mathematical Economics. She is a professional ceramic artist, and directs and acts in theatrical performances. She also enjoys cooking and dance.
